When installed on a desktop or laptop Ceelox Vault™ perfectly complements full-disk encryption solutions that render removable storage devices “not portable.”
You get the best of all worlds, a simple and easy to use data protection application, biometric authentication for data access and a truly portable encryption and decryption system for your sensitive data.
In addition, the fingerprint scanner used with Ceelox Vault™ applications can be used in conjunction with Ceelox ID®, Ceelox ID Online™, and Ceelox SecureMail™.
How It Works
Ceelox Vault™ offers a File Manager-like interface with shortcut links to "My Documents" and "Desktop" and allows for the automated synchronization of files located on either the host computer or the portable device.
"Vaults" can be created by multiple users who may share a device, each with unique biometric access to the stored data. Encryption of the data insures that even if the drive is removed from the biometric enclosure, laptop or desktop the data cannot be accessed.
To encrypt or decrypt, simply drag and drop the file and folder to or from the Ceelox Vault™ application. You will be asked to authenticate with a fingerprint scan to make sure that you are authorized to encrypt or decrypt your sensitive data.
